BigBrain is a personal knowledge vault. The "Send to BigBrain" browser extension and the bigbrain.cool service collect only what the service needs to work:

What we collect. (1) Your Google account email address and name, when you sign in — used to identify your account and gate access. (2) The content of web pages you explicitly capture with the extension, and notes you type into it — stored in your private vault. The extension transmits nothing without a deliberate action from you (a click or a keyboard command). It does not track your browsing. (3) Usage records: counts of what your account does (signing in, capturing, searching) and what each processing run cost us. These are counts and amounts only — no page content, no titles, no URLs and no search terms.

What you search for stays in your vault. Your search queries, and which results you then opened, are written into your own vault beside your notes, so that retrieval quality can be measured and improved. They are your data: they live where your notes live, and they are deleted when your vault is.

Where it goes. Captured content is stored in your own private vault on bigbrain.cool and is processed by Anthropic's Claude API to file and link your notes. It is not shared with anyone else, not sold, and not used for advertising. Anthropic's API handles your content under its own commercial terms, which exclude training on your data.

Deletion. Email privacy@bigbrain.cool to delete your account and vault. Deletion removes your content from the service.
